Does Dogberry and his watch provide humor ?

The question is asked Does Dogberry and his watch provides humor. Yes I do agree they do. In any play humor plays a vital role. In the book much Ado about Nothing written by William Shakespeare many themes are evident however humor is present in this book especiallywith Dogberry and his watch.

In the book Dogberry Master Constable and his watch are what person whould classify as very dumb. His self-importance burts through his speech. Mistakes words such as desertless for deserving and tolerable for intolerable. The police force is a group of unpaid indivials and their incompentence is an easy source of entertainment.

Dogberry and his watch men were not educated men so some thing they did in the play were very humorous and very dumb. In the play even Conord call Dogberry an ass however he disagree he believes to himself and his officers that he has imprecfect mastery of The English Language. The way in which Dogberry and his watch found out about Don John evil deed was very funny it was not meant to happen like that but it did.

Dogberry and his watch provides humor to the play in a limitless way. There incompetence dipicted there reaction in the play. they even rode invisble horses which in my viw was the most humorous events in the play.
